The initials "PU" are engraved in the center of the circle at all times during the year.
In the summer and spring, "PU" is engraved in flowers. In the fall, "PU" is engraved in grass by peat moss. In the winter, "PU" is heated so that the snow will melt thereby engraving the letters.
